
This marquee event is designed as a cultural affair and community service project which Kern County Citizens, Businesses, and Civic Organizations play a vital role in the educational enrichment & leadership development of high school girls.
All profits from the program are used by AKA to further community service programs and provide educational scholarships to the participants. Examples of community service projects locally and abroad include scholarships to graduating seniors and contributions to organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Heart Association, NAACP, Project BEST, Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society – Relay for Life and other deserving projects.
AKA takes great strides in collaborating with local causes and national program efforts in order to bridge gaps, share resources & work together bringing various types of service excellence throughout Kern County.
